Launched in 2004, dmesgd aims to provide a user-submitted repository of searchable *BSD dmesgs. The dmesg(8) command displays the system message buffer's content, and during boot a copy is saved to /var/run/dmesg.boot. This buffer contains the operating system release, name and version, a list of devices identified, plus a whole host of other useful information. We hope others find this resource useful and further contribute to its growth. Contact us at [ admin at lists dot nycbug dot org ]. Note that this site is not a substitute for sending the dmesg directly to the respective project.

Description: Vaxstation with turbochannel and PMAZC-AA
The purpose of this dmesg is to demonstrate function on Vaxstation 4000/60 for Turbochannel Option board and PMAZC-AA dual fast scsi controller.

The controller works, but I had to disable luns in kernel to make it stop freaking at poll. It is not bootable, the machine does not know the drives and controller on the TSC option board exist. An operating system like VMS or NetBSd will pick them up. When this occurs, sd0 may switch from being on the onboard controller to being on the external bus... It requires planning, is a split-boot scenario like my Alpha.
The drives on the fast scsi controller DO work now, but at 5meg.... Even so, they are 20% faster than the onboard controller, which has the advantage of being able to negotiate a 6.25meg rate...

I'm not splitting boot presently. I want to figure out the speed negotiation issue. Here's the output:
