Launched in 2004, dmesgd aims to provide a user-submitted repository of searchable *BSD dmesgs. The dmesg(8) command displays the system message buffer's content, and during boot a copy is saved to /var/run/dmesg.boot. This buffer contains the operating system release, name and version, a list of devices identified, plus a whole host of other useful information. We hope others find this resource useful and further contribute to its growth. Contact us at [ admin at lists dot nycbug dot org ]. Note that this site is not a substitute for sending the dmesg directly to the respective project.

Description: Compaq XP900 ev6 466mhz NetBSD 10.1
====================================================================
PLATFORM PERFORMANCE & STABILITY TELEMETRY
====================================================================
Host Architecture: NetBSD 10.1 port-alpha
Processor: Digital Alpha EV6 (21264) @ 466 MHz
Primary Storage: Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB
SATA Controller: CMD Technology SiI3124 SATALink (PCI 64-bit/33MHz)
Bus Protocol: Ultra-DMA Mode 6 (Ultra/133) native kernel DMA

VERIFIED KERNEL BLOCK METRICS:
# dd if=/dev/rwd0a of=/dev/null bs=1m count=1024
1073741824 bytes transferred in 8.281 secs (~122-129 MB/sec)

DIAGNOSTIC NOTES:
- Core kernel-mediated bus_dma(9) pathways operate flawlessly at
  maximum hardware line velocity, confirming rock-solid underlying
  silicon and bus fabric integrity under pure TSO-mimicked kernel loads.
- Subsystem captures traces of un-fenced legacy loops: note trailing
  'stray dec 6600 irq 33' and 'stray isa irq 15' signatures triggered
  by un-fenced parallel control register checks during high-frequency
  isochronous operations (uaudio) and PIO Mode 4 fallback routines.
